The democratic election for president of 2008 is very similar to the 2004 presidential election because Obama bases his campaign on the same beliefs as Kerry did. For example, in the cartoon Barack Obama is standing facing a mirror and the reflection is John Kerry. This is showing that Obama is a reflection of Kerry. Another example of similarity with Obama and Kerry is that on Obama’s suit there is a pin that says, “OBAMA CAMPAIGN ‘08” and on Kerry’s suit there is a pin that says, “KERRY CAMPAIGN ‘04”. This is showing that Obama’s campaign is the reflection of Kerry’s campaign and is another analogy comparing Obama to Kerry. Obama believes in many of the ideas that Kerry did. The democratic presidential election of 2008 is the same as 2004’s and the only change we can have is the nominee for the Democratic Party actually being elected as president.
