Running mates of the presidential candidates sometimes teach things that they do not know anything about and that is not understandable even though they will probably never use it. In the political cartoon Palin is writing on a chalkboard, “THE BUSH DOCTRINE MEANS WE CAN WAGE PREEMPTIVE WAR EVEN IF THE COUNTRY WE INVADE IS NOT AN IMMEDIATE THREAT” This shows that things she is teaching for the party she represents does not make sense and will not better our country. Another example is that Palin is saying, “LIKE I’M EVER GOING TO HAVE TO KNOW THIS!” This explains that she is doing work that she knows nothing about and feels she will not need because her party will not win. Most likely her party will not win because she is teaching what George W. Bush used to believe in and most people do not want that now because they are looking for change. The cartoon depicts Palin as a running mate that knows nothing about what she is teaching and does not have confidence in the party she is running for.
